GENERAL QUESTIONS

WHAT is the event?
Kaleidoscope East - West 2012
WHERE is it held?

WHEN is it?
Will be announced soon.
WHAT is the format?
120 way sequential, all invitational. The goal is to combine the best Russian skydivers(East) and the best European, USA (West) skydivers to make a world class team doing world class skydives annually.
HOW much will it cost?

Jumping specific questions:

HOW many jumps does the fee include?
18 jumps.
WHAT else is included in the price?
T-shirt, DVD with jumps, light party and oure hospitalites.
WHAT aircraft will be used?
Four to five Let-410 and one or two AN-28. Take a look at the aircraft page.
WHAT altitude will we be jumping from? Will O2 be used?
Exit altitude is 6000+meters/20000feet, planes will be equipped with oxygen masks.
Are AAD's required? Hard helmets?
YES, you must use an AAD and wear a hard helmet is according with DZ safety rules

HOW does a person get an invitation?
Please fill out the Registration Form.
HOW do you register and pay?
Please fill out the Registration Form. In 14 days you will get the invitation and paying instructions.

Non jumping specific questions:

WHAT airport should people book flights into?
DME or SVO (DME is the closest airport to DZ)
HOW do they get from airport to dropzone?

We organise transfer from DME to DZ and from SVO to DZ as well.

Please don't plan to come to SVO on Friday 1 p.m. and to return to SVO on Sunday after 1 p.m. because of terrible traffic jam

WHERE you can stay? (on and off dz accomodations/Hotels)

You can stay right at dropzone or at a hotel in nearby Kolomna town.
